Stanley A. Landers

Stanley A. Landers is senior partner in the law firm of Landers and Cernigliaro, P.C. in Carle Place, Nassau County. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and St. John's University School of Law, Mr. Landers is a member of the American Association for Justice, the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and the Nassau County Bar Association. He is a contributing author to all four editions of Medical Malpractice in New York, published by the New York State Bar Association. Infants who have suffered neurologic injury at birth and failure to diagnose cancer are two of the sub-specialties in which he has very extensive experience.

Frank G. Cernigliaro

Frank G. Cernigliaro is a graduate of Cornell University and Hofstra University Law school where he was a Law Review Editor. After three years of representing commercial clients at a large Manhattan law firm he turned his focus to trial work.  Mr. Cernigliaro has been a trial attorney for over 25 years and has successfully represented clients in numerous medical malpractice cases.  He has also represented clients in auto, slip and fall and labor law cases. He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States of America and is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association as well as the nationally recognized American Association for Justice.  He has been invited to lecture and has been a faculty member at state medical conferences where he has instructed physicians on the law of medical malpractice.

David A. Mayer

David A. Mayer, M.D., J.D., is of counsel to our firm. He is a summa cum laude graduate of Hofstra Law School and a member of the Law Review. A former Chairman and current Associate Professor of Surgery, Dr. Mayer had an active career as a practicing General, Vascular and Bariatric surgeon at hospitals in the North Shore-LIJ Health System until switching the focus of his career to protecting the rights of those injured by negligence and medical error. His current memberships include the New York State Bar Association, New York State Trial Lawyers Association, New York Academy of Trial lawyers, American Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice.
